Our conditioning solid shampoo bars are handcrafted in small batches with green, ECO cert ingredients and with mild but foamy sulfate and paraben free surfactants. Long lasting, zero waste beauties will help everyone with dry scalp and dull, damaged or dry hair.
Our Conditioning Solid Shampoo bars are scented with a fresh, marine fragrance. The sweet yet salty oceanic scent is combined with an undercurrent notes of amber and vanilla that make you feel relaxed and refreshed.
How to use solid shampoo bars: get hair wet, swipe the bar over hair, lather it up, rinse, and repeat.
Choosing the right solid shampoo bars for you, consider:
*Avoid melt and pour soap and, in general, ANY soap. An alkaline product, soap eventually will damage your hair so much, that you will loose them for good. It does not matter how much good oils a manufacturer adds to such soap – it is still an alkaline product. You do not need to risk your health!
*Avoid bars with solid noodles (hint: they look like sprinkles). A proper manufacturing procedure requires to melt all solid surfactants for the good performance of solid shampoo. Imagine, you bought frozen food and began to eat it without further cooking. Will it be useful or healthy, or safe? The same story is with surfactant noodles: a real syndet shampoo bar should look homogenous. It can look rustic, but homogenous.
*Try not to use syndet bars with much oils or solid shampoos that contain Emulsifying Wax. Such syndet bars will make your hair feel and look oily.
*People with dry scalp should use moisturizing and conditioning shampoos. Extracts of chamomile or cucumber can help. People with oily scalps and hair would enjoy products with exfoliating herbal extracts like papaya, bamboo or honeysuckle. Those who spend a lot of time outside would enjoy green tea extract in the shampoo’s formula. If you have a problem with dandruff, search for willow bark extract, and if you have oily scalp and dry ends, then use a conditioner only on your hair ends.
*Essential oils or fragrance oils in the formula, it is your choice. Remember, that essential oils are very concentrated compounds that might provoke allergic reactions. Read labels before your purchase to avoid an unpleasant situation.
*When using syndet shampoo bars, don’t leave them in a pool of water. Let them completely dry between washes, and they will faithfully serve you for a very long time.
